What’s new · Tidybite

Version 0.1.1 · November 2026

Faster popup. Opens quicker and more reliably, even with a long cleanup log.
Lighter on every page. The cookie-banner helper now loads only where it can do something: in the page itself for free users, in every frame for Pro, and nowhere if you turn the feature off. Pages with lots of ads and embeds no longer load it many times over.
Fewer trips to our server. Tidybite Pro now checks your plan with our server about once an hour instead of each time your browser wakes the extension.
Steadier settings. Clicking the settings tab you’re already on no longer jumps the page to the top.
Lighter cleanup log. When the log gets very large, the oldest entries are removed so Tidybite stays quick and your settings are always saved. The newest cleanups can still be restored.
See what changed. After an update, the popup shows one line linking to this page. Close it and it won’t come back until the next update.
31 languages. Tidybite is now fully translated into all 31 of its languages. Before, 20 of them showed parts of the app in English.

First release: deletes each site’s cookies and site data when you close it, keeps the sites you choose, and lets you restore any cleanup.
Tidybite Pro with a 7-day free trial: Smart Keep, the “keeps signing me out” finder, cookie banner rejection and sync.
